Self-employment programs

The self-employment program under business immigration in Canada is designed for candidates who have relevant self-employment experience and the intention and ability to manage their own employment. This program is to give residence to the individuals who can create a significant impact on the cultural, artistic or athletic sector in Canada or can manage their own employment by purchasing and running a farm in Canada. An eligible candidate must fulfill the following requirements before applying for this program-

1. At least two years of experience in self-employment in the five years before the date of application
2. Must provide proof of enough funds to enable the candidate to be self-employed in Canada and make contribution to specified economic activities in Canada and have the settlement requirements for the candidate and family.
